Default Diffs on RC8T

My question is do you have to take the front, center, and rear diff apart to add grease or are they good. The manuel says just add 7000 fluid and your good to go and people that have wriiten reviews about the truggy say you just fill the shocks and diffs with fluid and your done. If grease is needed to be added, how much is needed? This is my first build so all advise is accepted. Thanks.

Grease? No grease. Start here with the diff oils. 7 front 10 center 5 rear. make sure you use diff oil and not shock oil. You will have to take the diffs apart. Fill the diffs up to the top of the gears and your good.
You sound new the RC world so I would leave the shocks alone. They already have oil in them.

Not exactly new to RC but this is my first truggy kit. I already added the diff fluid. And the shox don't come pre-filled. I filled them using AE50wt, might run 30wt though, not shure. The truck is almost done just need to add front and rear assembly to the chasis. But just want to make sure I dont need to take the diff apart before going further into the build.

AE50wt? What the heck is that? Please tell me that's not motor oil.

Your post is kind of confusing. You said you filled the diffs. already so i am assuming you already pulled them apart , but you wanted to make sure you didn't need to pull them apart before going further. I'm not being a jerk just trying to clarify what you are saying.

Just an FYI for those that don't know, but if you're ever in need of diffs in a pinch, or amain is sold out, the Thunder Tiger ST-1 diffs are the exact drop in replacements for the Associated RC8T truggy. They're the exact same diffs as several people/racers have already confirmed. Glad I have strong diffs in my ST-1!
