Removing old monokote
Is there any good way to remove old monokote? So far im using the cut and peal method..does anyone know of another way to take it off easyer?

lol thanks guys, I've been doing the cut peal method..wow alot of work...lol Idid find though if you use a heat gun to heat the monokote it does peal off easyer., lol space worm Iknow what ya mean about the ultra coat.........

Although sometimes the color is imbedded into the wood and will not ever come off unless you cut out the wood[]
Gotta love (old) Monokote, wish I had an unlimited stock of it.

lol Iknow what ya mean, there are red spots all over the mustang were the monokote bled threw the wood.....lol but its cool Im going to cover it with silver and yellow..

lay adhesive tape over a strip of covering, heat it mup, and pull back against itself, the mono will lift, i use 2inch wide brown parcel tape, leave it for a while, press down hard, and go for it
