+1 We are very fortunate I know many flyers who don't have great options. Our club is very welcoming and the members are very helpful. We don't get too wrapped up into rules. We have one rule it is the PP rule. No *****s and No Politics. That is it. All safety rules and practices apply.

Steve-D

I agree with you glassing and painting you plane. If I can get through this season I may just do the same on this plane. I didn't want to take the extra time this go around.

Nice video p51fw190.... Very nice flight and the landing looked as easy as mine lands. I'm not sure what could be going wrong with these guys needing gyros

I mentioned that the gear block let loose a while back. Here is a pic of it and part of how I repaired it. For the adhesive not holding I just worked in CA and clamped. Then reinforced each side of the gear block with 1/8 in dowel pins with 30 min epoxy. Flew it today great flight and no issues with the gear. Just an option for reinforcing that area.

Nice video. Too bad the music drowned out the sweet 4-stroke ICE sound.

I like your flap setting..... I believe I will add more to mine after seeing how well your plane flys with them. Great little airplane and your radial makes it better

Thank you for your compliment.
Maybe, prop brake in engine idling would have helped the stable landing.

p51fw190f4u , I tested the FG-84 now, and asked you on youtube on the hesitation from low to high.

You said you fixed it by setting the H-needle to 4 rounds.

Mine was at 3.5 rounds..

So I followed your advice and set the H needle to 4 rounds out.

YES!

The hesitation disappeared, and now I get 6600 rpm with a Mejzlik 24x10.

Thank you so much.
