Nice, I've seen those. Would you mind measuring the cowl, I'd like to find out if I could switch out the CMP cowl(for the ESM), and make it a model 21

thanks,

Casey

Spinner from SDS hobby. Its nicely made aluminum which is already bored for DA-50 and DLE-55.
Its painted for a Focke Wulf but its also shaped for the Zero. Ill paint it to scale with the prop.
SDS will make me one for 3 bladed prop

Balanced! 19.8 lbs total weight. No nose dead weights. I had to take off the 5 cel "C" cell ignition batteries I initially installed to weigh the nose down. Turned out I dont need it. Back to 4.8 NiMh 2000mah.

You need to balance the plane with the gear retracted. This is the way I done my P-40 which will make more of a difference because my gear retract straight back. But I would check it just to make sure, because it will move the CG aft when the gear are retracted.

Temp Install of the Main Landing Gear Covers.
The brackets that holds the cover are Robarts. So they perfectly match the Robart struts. The only different thing I did was instead of the music wire that robart recommend to use in mounting the covers i just use 4-40 screws which are perfect in replacing the bracket's allen set screws So those srews also locked in place the covers for me.

Put on the strut cover stripes. Anyone knows what they're really for? I like to think theyre for the ground crew to see from a distance how much the struts are collapse to on the real plane cause theyre right where the split /sliding part of the covers were.

Mike,

You are correct about the lines on the strut. It let them see and measure the compression on the mains.
