Thank you. that will end up being close to 10,000 grams maybe? Or about 22lbs for the non-metric of us.

I guess it will end up at ca 9000gr. My Ta152c is larger, but weights 9500gr. But the Sierra retracts with wheels, weights alone 1200gr on the 190A8.

I have Sierra gear in my Sis-T 190.. heavy but great gear and wheels. I have a Saito 300 twin for mine. Should be enough power but it does weigh quite a bit more than yours..

Yes, the SisT models are heavy. A friend my have one who weights 14,4kg, but it still flies well.

I noticed you put a Laser 300? in the plane and not the Saito 325.. any special reason?

I choosed the Laser200V, because the plane balanced perfect with it. The Saito is 1300gr. heavier, and I had to add weight in the tail.

I just started building my Platt FW 190 and noted that the plans call for 3 degrees of positive incidence in the wing and 2 degrees in the stab. I usually set my war birds with 2 degrees positive in the wing and 1 1/2 in the stab with 0 engine down thrust. The Platt plans set up basically gives the model 3 degrees of engine down thrust. I would like to hear from modelers who have flown this model and if they used the called for incidences from the plans and what was the outcome. Also what control throws were used.
Thanks,
P51Tom
