I can get some pictures for you later today, Ian.
By the way, did you sort out the spinner? Hope you got it all cut, drilled and tapped OK.
I'l try to get them posted this afternoon after work.
Are you almost finished with the plane? Sounds like you're getting close.

Thanks for the pictures, I have that retract it doesn't look like you cut the arm, how is the reiliability on the retract, also what tail wheel did you use. Thanks Ian

Actually the "slide" feature works perfectly well on mine. When the tail wheel is retracted, the connection to the rudder servo basically slides back and forth and puts no stress whatsoever on either the tail wheel or the servo.
Kind of a dated tecnology, but works perfectly well if set up correctly.
But, if you have extra channels, then it can't hurt to run it seperately (unless you keep forgetting to activate the servo on landing).

Butlern is correct, the slide feature actually works very well and definitely use a separate servo for tail wheel steering. I'm using a 1 1/4" sullivan tailwheel. Can't speak to how well the retract will hold up long term but it looks sturdy enough for a tailwheel retract. Besides it's pretty tight back there, I don't know if you could fit anything else. Keep us posted on your progress with the zero.
