RE: Meister 1/5 scale P-47
Dino,
Don't let Jeff do any work to the plane. Like I told him, that he works so hard at hiding stuff that you gona look up and the plane will be gone. It will vanish into the {SCALE LIGHT ZONE} Looks great man keep up the good work. Todd

Hey Gary,
The wing pylons are built of balsa and thin ply. they are then attached to the wing with a couple of small bolts. Micro servo installed inside the pylon to operate the bomb release.

Not done yet guys, but here are some pictures of our cockpit so far. Still have the bomb site and seat to install. I want to find a pilot before mounting the seat so it is at the right height. Seems that most are either 1/6 or 1/4 scale. Any good ones out there? I will also work on getting some dirt and wear in there.

Gary,
Here are some pics of the pylons for you.
Also, Our Premier 15" Pilot is the perfect size for the Jug. These photos are from the Ocala Summers End event yesterday.
Chris's new P-47 was fitted with the new pilot.
Its in between 1/4 and 1/5 scale...

The wood pylon looks good too. We have talked about maybe adding electric release later.

Vladimir,
Greetings!
However, I cannot comment on the CJM P-47 as its not a Meister but a copy that was not reviewed by myself. I have heard that the CJM design is VERY heavy. I cannot give any recommendations on set up as its not a Meister product. I am sure the people at CJM can give you that info. Maybe you should start a CJM build thread on RCU to get some help on your subject.
Hope all is well in Russia!!

Use Hitec 645 high torque metal gears all around should be ok. maybe something bigger like Hitec 755 on the flaps, this plane needs full flaps to slow down on landings, George.
