LOL....because I like to fly without thinking about fuel and a DA60 will use more than a DA50 during break in It wont be a problem and will improve the cg as fuel is burned as compared to the original tank location

The stock tank would be plenty for a DA60. Plus, the DA60 is such a beast of an engine I doubt that you will be flying the bird at full throttle all that much ... very powerful!!

Ok, got the cowl rough mounted and discovered the muffler pipes wont even make it out of the cowl[X(] I also found one of the header bolts will crush the header if tightened too much. This is the Jtec muffler for the DA60 made to fit the TF P-40. The Jtec that went on my AW P-51 had the same problem but I have a fix for it to accomplish tomorrow...Il post pic Here she is SNARLING!!!

At least you wont have to hack the cowling up for the muffler

On my DA60 I'm using a header/cann ... no loosening ... I also put blue locktight on the bolts.

Hey Lifer...last P-40 we discussed was a Skyshark Give Brad a call at http://www.badbradgraphics.com/index.html
He mainly does 3D birds but fully capable of doing warbirds as well...you just need to talk to him and describe what you want...he has great pricing Tell him Jimmy Davis sent ya What power are you going with on your P-40...you should have it ready in ample time for the next Warbirds over Tulsa. I can see you and me flying sorties with the P-40s[X(]

DLE 55 and Robart gear all around. I'll save the link to my Favorites. I haven't been to Tulsa in a while, so there's a good chance I can make it. Thanks for your efforts!

I am thinking of getting a 3-blade spinner. Can you tell me what size spinner comes with the kit? Thanks in advance!
