Howdy all, I used to have at least 117 positive feedback ratings here, but they've ALL vanished into thin air! I recently posted an ad for an engine for sale, and I need to update my ad. Where's the "edit" button? Very confusing for an old geezer like me that used to LOVE RCU! What happened? Thanks!

I don't think there is such a function, at least anymore.

2 things that really ought to be fixed here:

1) Add an Edit feature to both posts and classified ads.

2) Move the classifieds section way down the front page. That way, people who aren't paying very close attention will stop thinking that the sub-forum at the very top of the page is for general questions.

You can edit posts but for a limited time, I don't remember what the time out period is but there's a reason for it.

So your option now is to use the REPORT button, it will generate a ticket for the moderators who can edit it.

Just put that you want to edit the ad and how and someone (probably me) will take care of it for you.
