hi guys. i lately found out that there is a differance in pitch between module and "standard pitch"
module is metric and "pitch" is standard. this is why so many of our customers are stripping their gears.
PLEASE HELP OUR CUSTOMERS AND MYSELF!
does anybody know what module redcat gears are?
NOT THE 1/8 BUT THE 1/10 i know the redcat pinions oon the 1/18 are .8 module
please and thanks!

just went thru 4 gears figuring this out on my sons volcano epx. figured out that it is 48 pitch metric not standard. 48 pitch metric is also know as .6 mod or tamiya pitch.
scroll down to the .6 mod gears"48 pitch metric".

yep, i just looked on redcats site to figure it out.
look up parts for the epx and under pinion you will find 3 different sizes, all with 48 metric pitch.
would kinda be nice if some day all rc's ran the same pitch. there are so many!
32 and 48 standard are common.
so is 1.0 mod. some redcats have a .8 mod.
then there is whatever my F1 pan car has(unsure of the pitch but its very small teeth)

i do know this but nobody but redcat that i know of sells them and i know that mod is metric and much easier to find than a metric 48 pitch pinion. that's why this is so hard. i know that roinson racing carries a couple but nobody carries the metric ones here.

ps i ordered mine from toadzrc.com they stock 14,15,17,19 for $2.98 each

the epx, epx pro's and the caldera 10e all use a 48 metric pitch pinion gear.
