V-dog-

May be a broken clutch spring. Springs keep the clutch shoes from engaging.

Try putting the rc on a block of wood with tires off the ground. Start it and use the brake.

If car dies, it''s probably a broken spring.

helloo guys I m new to nitro rcs.. I have been into electric for a while.....
I got a volcano sv pro and I m not sure wich glow plug would work best.... its still on the mail but I heard one glow plug might not be enough for break in and I should have some extra because break in is hard on the glow plug.... thanks....

Thet are very hard on plugs. The guy at hobbytown said one is enough but I bought three extra. Between breakin and 5 runs, I have went through four plugs, but its geting better. By the way, have u heard anything about hobbytown stocking redcat stuff ehroof[or himotoracingusa[)]]

The 1 should last u a majority of break in but I use two just because it help the breakin since u have to idle so much.

8 is to cold of a plug, you want a hot plug, maybe they carry another brand in a hot plug.

I thought the o.s. 8 was a hot plug. Thats what I ran in my duratrax and hot was the only thing it would that it would even dare start and run on

most standard plugs are the standard size but turbo plugs are a different size and will only work with a turbo head engine. your truck doesnt have a turbo head engine, standard head.

Plugs come in three diffrent sizes- I think[sm=50_50.gif]Turbo for turbo racing heads, Standard for pretty muck every nitro engine, and long for traxxas engines and anything similar. U want the standard lenght plugs[)]

Defentaley have some control arms[upper and lower] on hand and maybe a shock tower or two. Or just get aluminum parts and be done with it. And a failsafe and a return spring are both a good idea. The failsafe will return the throttle to idle if battery power runs low and the return spring brings it back to idle if the signal is lost
