thanks 4 the quick reply ehroof...! ill try that probably tomorrow, but what about the idle set screw...?
Take the air filter off and look inside the carb. As you turn the idle screw does the gap get larger?
And I agree with ehoof, its sounds like the clutch spring is broken. You can bend a new end on it if it is.

Yes they do. I put the geolanders on mine and they work great. Much better then the stock tires and foams.

Not at all. They are the same size as the stock tires just much more durable. And the foam is stiffer so the tires dont bounce as much

These are the hpi wheels so Im not sure about the rustler ones. But these work fine, no extra offset needed.

Here is a picture of my tsunami:

1. upgrade the clutch bell to this set up: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...4&I=LXCLR2&P=K + http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...4&I=LXDHM0&P=K + http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...4&I=LXCLR9&P=K

2. upgrade the clutch spring to traxxas #4146x : http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=++&search3=Go
I know this was posted a while ago so forgive me if I am asking something which has already been answered.

It seems to me from reading this post that the Tsunami /T. Ultrawide can be upgraded with parts from other manufacturers.

If this is correct, is there a list somewhere which cross matches parts?

Himoto, Redcat, Exceed RC use all the same parts. There are also compatible parts from HPI and Traxxas. Its easier to tell you if there is a specific part you are looking for a compatible replacement for.

Keith... Thanks... That is good info to know.

Not sure which parts as of yet but when I do I imagine this is the place to come to finds the answers.

The ony part I may have to get outside of Redcat at this time are the front and rear dogbones. I know that Redcat is out of stock and has been for a while.

Anytime Sushi
You can try looking at tri-county or raidentech http://www.raidentech.com
If you run into a problem with a specific part just put a post up. You'll have an answer in no time.
You might be able to use HPI or Traxxas dog bones as long as the length is the same. I havent actually checked mine yet but I will. I have an HPI MT2 as well and a lot of the parts are about the same size.
