yes, for steering you would want a higher torque one but for throttle, a regualar futaba sevo is fine and will fit right were the stock one went and the servo horn will fit right on it.

just an update have switched to 20%/12% bryons race fuel still have to finish dialing it in because the trans gave out but have completed switching over to the direct drive with the 13 tooth clutchbell and the spur gear is 42 tooth. i will run it today and let you know how much of a difference there is from the stock setup

ran my truck today and it seems like it is slower than before it seems like it doesnt have as much torque as before. if i pick upthe truck it will go thru the rpm range and balloon out the tires alot but if i put it on the ground it takes a sec to take off and really doesnt really go that fast. could this be the clutch slipping or what im stumped? any help would be appreciated thanks

there is no weight on the truck when the wheels are in the air. Try leaning it out just a bit .

Weather plays alot in how the truck runs day to day. Lean it out just a tad and see how it does. The hotter the weather the leaner it can run. The colder the richer it will run. 10 degrees makes a huge difference.

with a single needle carb you have to make very small adjustments, 1/8 or less at a time and drive it for a few seconds in between adjustments, single needle carbs are hard to get a perfect tune.

thats what i was doing i got it set right now at about 1 5/8 turns out and it is slow off the line but will not bog at full throttle. sick of the single speed screw do you know if there is a carb that will fit . the screws that hold the carb in go through the mount and screw in the bottom of carb, one on each side.

i would think that the carb for the vx 18 would be a direct fit, ask xhoutas, he has the vx 18 and the infinity, he would know if they are a direct replacement.

No they aren't interchangeable. the vx 18 carb is bigger than the infinity carb.
