Default silly putty

anyone have pics on how to lock your differentals with silly putty. will it make the car wheelie? what does it do with silly putty?

you take the diff housing apart, you put the silly putty in the diff with the spyder gears, not the main housing with the pinion and ring gear. what it does is make it a locked posi, this way the 2 wheels grab evently instead of limited slip, will wheelie better with 2 wheels grabbing equally.

It will wheelie better but it won't help cornering. Whwn you corner your diff. lets the outside wheel turn faster than the inside wheel, because the two wheels have different radius. If you lock your diff. your tires will tend to slide around corners.

Take out the rear one, and unscrew the four screw's you see here and remove the gear you just unscrewed and put the putty in the bowl.
