stock your diff is unlocked, that why the wheels turn seperate ways when the car is off. When you lock the diff it makes it so that both wheels have to turn exactly the same, but when the diff is unlocked one wheel can spin with the other stopped. locking the diff is good for drifting, so you slide better because both wheels are turning. but when its locked its handing is worse because one wheel cant turn faster than the other when turning.

was the gear mesh easy when u put the engine back on? i havent checked mine yet since i aint had time test the car out at all. i marked on the chassis the location of the screws for engine mounts....but since the new gears have slightly more teeth im sure i cant use the stock position.

the air filter i got from allaboutfunhobbies and it come with 2 peaces one that would fit the .18 carb and one that didn't so i took peace of 3/8 fuel hose and put in the middle of it and used both peaces and for the exhast used a sifon pump u can get a wal mart for about 4 bones it works but when heated it get's loose so going to use something else just haven't had time to search or find anything probley going to go with the radiator drip hose that u can get from any auto parts store it should hold up to heat!!

you should watch out because they can have the mesh a little bit off from the factory, would just remesh it evertime. its a pain but it gets easier. what i do is i just press the gears together, and then back off a very little bit. then i get the screws snug. then i hold the spur with a screwdriver and then move the clutch bell and there sould be a little bit of play, if i feel there is too much or too little then i remesh it. If its good then i pull one screw out at a time and locktite it. its not that bad after you do it a couple times.

hey justin, something i just though about, you could take you pipe and rotate it so it points up, and then run it to the back or your car, so it doesnt hit the body and also so it doesnt kink up.
