Why dont you try what the in post #4 says, but in reverse order...try misting the purple on very lightly and then back it with a few light coats of the silver...again i would try it on a coke bottle...

i dont know about using the parma mask, but try to print a small design in the corner of the sheet of mask and if it doesnt dry well you can probably remove the design with rubbing alcohol or even...

Definately paint the inside of the body. You can spray it or brush it. When you paint on the inside, the outside will always have that glossy look. If you paint on the outside, any little scratch...

I have used chrome paint made by spaztixx-it comes in a spray can(its a little pricey)and they also recommend using spaztixx surface pre prep on all unpainted plastic...the chrome seems somewhat...

I voted for the GS SUT...I have a TMAXX , Savage and the storm sut...Out of all three I would slightly give the overall edge to the GS SUT because of speed, low CG and jumping ability...I bash them...

XRC and RC Driver give lots of reviews and start with a non biased opinion. Although I like any mag that has RC info in it, I would have to agree that one mag in particular does get on their knees...

You got the right paint...You can pick this paint up at your LHS in a can...Pactra Racing finish comes in a can...Tamiya has their paint...spaxstix has colorchange paint in a can...you can spray that...
