Also cutt the top cover out some to let more header heat out the motor runs much cooler

Yes I cutt off the top wing & fin's and the two small fin's on each side or outside back ,cut the front brace out and inclosed from the middle brace back this keeps all the water from going inside...

Go too Funboats.com they have a step by step with pic. on sharpening props it easy just make sure you bal. MUST IMPORTANT. And I'm sorry it is a Y435 not aY535

1.The Y535 is the better prop. so far. (2) NO (3) NO (4) Hobby Town at about 10 bucks each. Or you can order from octur. Funboats also have them. But I think you will be happy with the Y535....

On the .15 Y535 and a M435. The .21 I have 3 props for it and untill it is fully broken in I won't really know.

also the motor i'm runing is a VZR(P)OS .21 And to keep the boat in the water and to keep from blowing over i made the rear fin ajustable to give the boat lift in rear and help keep the nose down

hey pilot sorry my e-mail has not been working. be carefull with the CG as you know that boat is designed to run on 3 points. As for as the pipe I'm runing it's a tuned pipe for a .32 wabor. Monday...

Sorry I will take more detailed pic fri. and send a closer look at how i set mine up. but keep in mind that you can't tell from pic's but radio box has been moved back to clear flywheel and collet...

I made mine out of 1/4 alum. with slotted holes to fit in same holes on wood mounts that came in boat. I will send close up pic. Fri. of the mount it realy work well, I can move motor back and forth...

because it is a hydro and the turn fin is on right side to hold the boat in turns from rolling over. If you look from back to front at the turn fin you will see that it is at a angle this is to keep...

Yes you can start with a belt it's a 17" one, you can also use the same drive start that is used on cars. there is a V groove in the flywheel already for belt start. If you every change motors buy...

No there are a painted finish. I used dupont car paint, base coat, clear coat. Wet sanded between each coat with 1500 grit paper. The V hull is gel coat .

this is the .21 drive all from octura ,flex drive and stut. making turn fin it will be the same as on the black boat.

don't know about the new boats but my boat is about a year old and it floats just fine upside down if the radio box is sealed good. I put a screw down cover on it.

These motors will get more air than one in a car with a body on it. I'm working on a 1/12 miss bud with a .21 it's just about ready. It is also a air cooled.

don't know the temp ,but after each run you can touch the head. I also opened up the back of top to let out headed heat.
