Im looking at makeing a GIANT leap here. Ive been flying now for a little over 3 years, Started w\ small foamies. Now I fly .40-.60 size electrics. But Im thinking of makeing a jump to LARGE gassers....

ooooppsss. Sorry about that. the motor was a Himaxx HC5018-530 w/ PH60, turning a 14x10 APC on 4s 3650 Tanic packs. At full throttel about 45-55 amps.

I used A Himaxx , PH 65, 4s 3650 and 14x10 apc onmy 7" Telei. At full throttel it used about 45-55 amps, I got somewhere around 2x 10 min flights. I could not do 3D but it was a...

Well, I picked up a lexan fuse of a UH-60 Blackhawk, so its further away than the stock set up. But I am considering on using the direcdrive tail motor, that Nick ????? is using, its the GWS motor...

Am I right by thinking the blades for the CP Pro are 225mm? Can I turn 325mm blades, will it hurt anything.

I understand the E-Flite recommends an 8tooth for the 4100kv, i have an 5400kv, if i use an 8-9-10 tooth, the head speed is still going to be more than what they recommend. With the 5400kv the head...

e-flightline.com has a great set up ( Himax 2025-5300, 6.3:1 gear, 12x3.8 prop, 3s lipos) Im useing a 10x7 prop, pulling 21amps. It flies great.

The brushed motors are junk, I always buy the slop glide versions of the GWS planes. So I can put what I want in them. The MPJet set up will work nicely. The 2015-4200 will work...

Go to e-flightline.com then go to video and you will see a Mini Funtana fly on the 2025-5300. I think Jeff ran 3s 2200mha and got 14+ min of flight. I think its a much better set up...

ooooppp, I forgot spin a 12x3, maybe 12x4 prop. I think you only need about 6-8 watts pre oz. for 3D.

If you run the Himax 2025-5300, 6.3:1, 3s, you'll pull somewhere around ...... I'll say 20-25amp's. 25x11.1=277.5 watts, 277.5 / (divide) by 24oz(weight of your plane)=11.5625(11.6)....
