RE: Nitro Planes A-10 Warthog for 95 dollars

You don't have to get so excited. GWS CEO is a big talker who likes to talk about "big plans" but we will see what percentage of his "plans" actually become real. EPS still have price and weight...

RE: Nitro Planes A-10 Warthog for 95 dollars

You got many things misunderstood here. GWS A-10 is very old kit that use regular foam, NOT any fancy EPO/EPL foam so it is just as brittle. The Guan-li A-10 has numerous wood internal structure so...

RE: f-4E PHANTOM {BLUE ANGELS}

What do you mean by "crossed"?

Hope you have turned off the "mixing" switch because the TX in the RTF version has mixing function that should NOT be active when you use with this plane.

RE: Nitro Planes A-10 Warthog for 95 dollars

The simplest way to wire up a twin brushless is to use TWO RECEIVERS and Two batteries. The two receivers would be on the same frequency and same shift or be bound to the same TX in case of 2.4Ghz...

RE: Nitro Planes A-10 Warthog for 95 dollars

I would recommend against flying the plane in this shady condition. You may not have realized how dangerous a unbalanced and off-centered fan can be. There is good chance a bad fan can literally...

RE: Nitro Planes A-10 Warthog for 95 dollars

Do NOT static test EDF for extended periods of time you would likely damage your components due to overheating. It is different in real flight as you have much better airflow over motor, ESC,...

RE: Nitro Planes A-10 Warthog for 95 dollars

They have updated their website to add options.
First they have $30 discount for pre-order now.
Then they offer to make it PNP(Plug and Play, or Receiver Ready), meaning that you use your own TX...

RE: wich rc jet?

I have the F-4 and have seen both the F-15 and the F-18 fly in a VERY WINDY DAY. They fly just fine no problem in a windy day. Very stable and penetrate wind well with decent speed.
The other guy...

RE: Nitro Planes A-10 Warthog for 95 dollars

Sounds like the ESC you got in your kit is crappy or defective. I guess if you replace it with a known good ESC and check if there is any defect in the wiring and connector you may immediately get a...

RE: Nitro Planes A-10 Warthog for 95 dollars

It is obviously your motor and or fan problem. Fans should run smooth at all power level. What you are describing sounds like the rotor is not balanced and/or not centered so it is scratching the fan...

RE: Mirage 2000 RTF

Yes you get my idea.

The Su-27 is also almost a delta. It can really float down to land if you watch the Hobby Lobby demo video.

These are BIG floaters that are really easy for beginners to...

You are totally mislead by the two guys above.

(1) Kyosho illusion is more expensive, not the same price. The price tag of $200+ for the Mirage INCLUDES battery, charger, and all radio. The...

RE: Hobbico Flyzone Cessna 182 RTF

Did you check that your battery is good and fully charged?

These RTF planes come with cheap components you have good chance getting a dud.

It is a good investment to get a power meter, or...

RE: ESTES Airforce 1 Ducted Fan 747 Jumbojet

I have converted these little fans to brushless. Very easy to do just use dremel to remove the ribs holding the odd shape of the 130 motors.
Any 20 mm brushless motor would fit fine and for good...

RE: ESTES Airforce 1 Ducted Fan 747 Jumbojet

Dude, those batteries WILL NOT WORK IN the 747 or any RC plane for that matter.

NOT ALL RECHARGEABLE NiMH/NiCD batteries are the same. BIG differences.
Those you buy at Walmart are called...

RE: GWS BN2J-EDF anybody??

Using the stock EDF-50A it is a low voltage motor you MUST NOT use 3 cell LiPo or you are going to fry them quick.

Even 7 cell NimH you need to watch out and ease on the...

Heng Long M26 Pershing not working out of box?
