Any temporary fixes for 1 way bearings?

Is there any fixes for a bad one way bearing on the starter shaft? My pull starter just pulls freely I sprayed wd40 on it and it fixed it for a few pulls is there any other fixes that might last...

Is there a way to control the timer with the throttle stick like on the futaba radios? For example at 0 throttle timer is inactive as you advance the throttle the timer comes on!

Thanks everyone for all the inputs! The reason I was asking is because I found one for sale. It was originally 900 dollars complete RTF minus RX with adequate servoas and 2 6 volt 3300 battery packs....
