RE: YS 63 Or Saito 82 A

The Saito 82 is lighter. That would be my choice, and it will spin a 14x4 with ease. If this is your first 4 stroke then you will find the Saito easier to setup and tune.

G2 orginally cost $199. The plane your buying is around $389. Of course Hobbico and RealFlight are in the business to make money and giving away their two hundred dollar software for nothing is not...

RE: Aero Fly Deluxe - New Version

Hate to break it to you but to build a comprable system to something like Dell would cost quite a bit more unless your buying used and outdated stuff and comparing prices at different times.

It...

RE: u-can-do .60 opinions

I too have a UCD 60 with Saito 100 and a 16x4 APC prop. This is my first 60 size plan and it seems easier to fly simply because it is larger and more visible.

This past weekend I had a dead...

RE: OS 1.60 for 90 Funtana

Why are they so building them so heavy? They running 4 batteries, 8 servos, 2 fuel tanks, etc? Also keep in mind how light the Saito 100 is, in some cases it is a pound or more ligher than some of...

RE: OS 1.60 for 90 Funtana

Not sure what you mean a 1.00 wont do it justice? A saito 100 pulls the f90 along just fine, hover, torque rolls, rolling circles, anything. Now if your flying at 10,000ft and want the plane to be...

RE: U Stick 40 question

It seems to be plenty nose heavy, I havent completely finsihed. I think I am going to ditch the heavy metal motor mount it came with and pick up the ligher nylon ones.

RE: VectorFlight Edge 540 servo choices

The hitec digial 5645's are the best deal going in my opinion.

Of course run a 6 volt battery and here is what you get for just $50 each:
168oz / .18s

If you want to save a little more...

RE: U Stick 40 question

If you have a soldering iron use that to make the hole. You have to feel around to find the holes though.

RE: U-CAN-DO Inverted Saito 100

I took it out to the field today and one of the old "experts" fixed it right up after about 15 minutes. The key is just to make sure you keep the carb closed at all times so it does flood. Right...

RE: Goldberg Tiger 2

Nice plane, just hope you dont get one of the lemon ARF's.

I put a Saito .72 on mine and that is more than enough motor. Make sure to use low rates at first otherwise it is very sensitive.
