You are wrigth but i don't repeat use for cowl, for wings and stab it is a matter of changing after 8-12 days, the only problem would be canopy but after 50 fligths no issues there i thing there you...

Here is my solution to my giant scale birds

1 is to glue a locknut inside for the canopy and cowl.

2 for wings and stabs is to glue all-rod M4 and use locknuts to fit all

EDGE 540 28% and 25% needs arround 15% mix aileron to rudder to the opposite side, stab mix is not neccesary

me and others have had many problems with 5245 in gassers, it seems that hitec aware that mini servos doesn't work with gassers.

Tom I did finally setup my engine following your instructios, now my mejzlik 24-10 rips @ 6.700 and it looks that it would go faster with more work on the carb

normaly moving gear inside the fuse doesn't works you will have to add weigth in the wing tip normally is few.

Bandjc, how do you adjust VP30 with the os? did you close a little the pump? because the sales man told me not to touch the vp30 and it's very hard to carb the OS 160 with it, i think i will have to...

As tom says you can do it, but it gives you more work, muving batteries at the rear, some people locat them @ the stabs. all depends of what you use and how you locate, but much easier with the CF-LG...
