RE: which one?

How much money do you have? The EVO4 is one of the best cars out there but it's around $2400 depending on options.

RE: which one?

I have seperate master cylinders for front and rear brakes. That way I can adjust the balance from the radio on the fly. It's the only way to go as once your tires heat up and get more grip, you...

RE: which one?

FG Comp EVO2

Speaking of Hydraulic brakes, the ones on that car will be going up on ebay along with carbon fiber rotors in a day or two. My reserve will be way low since I just want to unload...

What happened to RC Tek?

RC Tek seems to be down. Anyone know if it's a temporary problem or permanent?

RE: Clutch bell options?

FG and Technokit both offer vented clutch bells but not for the 2-speed. You may have to make one.

RE: Would you trade performance for lower noise?

Well, I guess it's pretty obvious that I'm in the minority. I'll look into the boat silencer as well as trying to come up with something on my own.

RE: Would you trade performance for lower noise?

Well, the problem is that none of the neighbors weed eaters goes ripping up and down the street @ 40 mph :D. It's not that big of a deal. I'd just like to have an option of a quieter exhaust. FG...

Would you trade performance for lower noise?

My FG MT has the stock 26cc engine with the FG pipe. Performance is awesome but I think its pretty loud. I personally don't mind the volume but I think I'm annoying my neighbors so I don't run it...

RE: 4WD FG MT?

While I'll buy FG's conversion as soon as it's available, I'd prefer a shaft system. It seems to me that it wouldn't be too dificult to design. The hard part would be the ring / pinion gears. I...

RE: traction on loose surfaces--I need the adjustable diff?

For an off-road car, I'd definitely try a heavy oil or diff lock fluid first since you've got limited traction to begin with and you'll never be able to put all the horsepower down. On a road car,...

RE: traction on loose surfaces--I need the adjustable diff?

I just bought the visco diff. I've been running the Technokit Auto-blocking but I've never been very happy with it. I don't think it provides very much locking action. I raced lasted week agains a...

RE: Pic of a 2 - 1/4 servo setup???

Before you make the change, check how much space you have between the chassis and servo mounting plate. I didn't [:@] and found that when I installed the 1/4 scale servos for throttle and brake,...

RE: Lower A-arms Rear Opinions

I have the KP rear arms on my EVO. They have design issues so I can't recommend them. After you sort everything out, they are nice but not as easy to adjust as others.

RE: Brakes on a Marder Copy

To get around this, swap your calipers left for right and mount them upside down. This allowed me to route my brake lines to prevent rubbing.

RE: is there a?????

Get your wheel bearings from a skate board shop...they are a standard size. The bearings for the diff, layshaft, and clutch bell are a little harder to find. I bought some high speed ceramic ones...

RE: glueing tires

I've had to use shoe goo for the foam and then slow CA for the tires. I also use the FG tire glueing device and it makes it very easy. Spray brake cleaner on the foam to lubricate it so you can...
