RE: Shocks for monster gt??

Just upgrade the shock body and caps to the factory team aluminum versions. The factory shocks are valved very good from the factory. Also upgrade the springs to the red springs and your good to go.

RE: HPI or Traxxas? That is the question.

With the cost being a factor and since you want to race the two you posted are not your best choice. I would have to say the TNX or MGT are your best bet. Those trucks are under 400 bucks and...

RE: Tamiya TNX Pro Racing Edition

I have a TZ in my TNX with over 2 gallons thru it, not one problem yet.

Tabushi also move the battery pack box to front of the chassis right behind the front shock tower. You will pick up a ton...

RE: ??going revo even though i was so against anything traxxas? ?

The OS .18 TZ and TM are not completly the same. From what I understand the sleeve is also a little different. The TZ puts out a little more power than the TM. You may also have to modify the shaft...

RE: ??going revo even though i was so against anything traxxas? ?

The carbonfiber chassis is fragile. Must haves are P2 rockers, heavier shock oil(I use 50 wt all around), heavier springs, and of course some racing tires.

RE: Traxxas Revo

OK. Glad you finally made up your mind. You will like the truck. If you have any problems just post back up as it seems you have quite abit of a fan club here waiting to see what truck you get.

RE: Traxxas Revo

The revo motor has a very small sweet spot so yes it tends to be harder to tune than alot of other trucks on the market. It is a great truck though, design wise and driving wise.

RE: Best Beginner Truck

The Revo is a great truck but the engine can be finiky tuning wise. If your local hobby store stocks parts for it you will be better off.

But for some unknown reason, I doubt you will get a...

RE: Most Favored Truck

Ilikenitrocars with the parameters you give cost wise the TNX or MGT are your best choices. Now go to your hobby store or go online and buy a truck already.

RE: Who would Win? Jammin with RBWS7II or MBXR2 with Sirio .27

Depends on the driver. Of the two the Jammin handles better.

RE: MGT 4.60 SE or Savage 25

For all the people who recommend the Savage over the Mgt you are not looking at his peramiter. He said he wants to race. The Savage is a great basher but is not a good track truck stock. Yes I agree...

RE: MGT 4.60 SE or Savage 25

Man you are one of the most wishy washy person i've ever seen. This is not a life altering decision. Get the truck you like. Whether its a mammoth, tnx,or MGT. Not trying to flame you but by the time...

RE: THIS IS ABOUT THE MGT

Rechecked my pit box it was 17/46. above post was corrected. The buggys top out at about 42 to 45 mph. Yes the truck was that fast. Where we would a bash no one could touch it for top speed....

RE: THIS IS ABOUT THE MGT

I don't think you guys realize how fast 50 MPH on a monster truck chassis is(truggys are diffferent). I had my MGT doing upper 40's to 50 mph. It was way to fast for a 12lb truck. Three times out and...

RE: Goodbye Revo- Hello Monster GT....Savage?

If your having problems with your Revo handling wise with the mods you have you need to learn to drive. I'm not trying to flame you but that is a very good setup you have on your truck right now. If...

RE: Goodbye Revo- Hello Monster GT....Savage?

The Revo is one of the best handling monster trucks on the market period. All it need is P2 rockers and different weight shock oil(maybe stiffer springs if funds allow). Only monster trucks that out...

RE: Revo vs Savage SS (AGAIN!!!!!) Sorry....

I too do not like traxxas products after owning a TMAXX. But after driving a Revo I purchased one. It is a very good truck. Much more durable than the TMAXX. One of the smoothest handling and...

RE: TNX Subforum

The main problem with the spur has to do with the factory screws. They back out and get loose. Causing just enough movement to screw up the gearmesh. First upgrade for the TNX is a screw kit with...

RE: Best Truck

The Tamiya TNX is the only truck that fits your criteria. The revo is slightly over the 400 dollar mark but is also what I think your looking for. Don;t get me wrong the TNX is one of the most...
