i applied grease. got it second hand, so not sure whether there was grease before. it gives me peace of mind if there is.

the evo has a black chassis, wheras the rush has a purple one. the engine is a different one, not just the head. just a load of small differences imo.

have a look on www.modelsinmotion.co.uk, they have a failsafe on offer for 10.50 or something cheap like that. i got mine on ebay for 11 inc p+p, so thats always a good place to look

check to make sure that the piston liner is lined up correctly; that is that the exhaust port etc corrosponds to the ports of the crank case. there should be a notch on the liner, u just have to line...

for racing you could go with : r40, serpent 710, kyosho v one rrr, mugen mtx3, yokomo gt4
theres a new mugen mtx4 coming out, and also the hara version of the r40 in the usa, or so ive heard.

has anyone been able to bend the 2.5 mil chassis yet? i havent had it long (the chassis not the truck) and have already been through 2 2mils.

for 38 dollars id say get it. just make sure the main parts are ok such as the diff. every little things that dont work can be replaced cheaply. you could always strip it for parts and sell them on...

valve, was it hard to get that end finish on your chassis. im thinking about doing this but i have fears that portions of my chassis will turn black or not look the same as the rest of it.
