Don't trust the canopy latch system that comes with the plane. I lost my canopy as well (on a snap roll) and never did find it. Mike has a good latching system and is what I use.

RE: Ordered new batteries . . . we'll see . . .

I have 40 flights on a set of 5000 25c compacts and so far so good, they still produce good power flying the Advanced sequence. I now have three more sets with just a few flights on them and they all...

RE: New pattern ship recomendation

It is an ESC issue with certain combinations of motor and so forth. Some guys report that they can go better than 30% using the 80HV, I never could. I cannot remember if Himax recommended the 30%...

RE: New pattern ship recomendation

I am just using the recommended setting from Himax as well. If you set your breaking to 30% the squeak will go away. Anything over 30% and mine made noise as well.

RE: New pattern ship recomendation

I use two 5s packs wired in series using 4mm bullets. I have never used the Turnigys. The zippy compacts and blue zippy 20c's are light and produce good power. I have had zero problems using zippy...

RE: New pattern ship recomendation

What Archie is telling you about the Vanquish is good advice. I went with most of his equipment recommendations when I purchased mine last winter and it has worked out well. The Himax 210 has been...

RE: Ordered new batteries . . . we'll see . . .

I am testing a pair of 5000 25c compact packs, just breaking them in. I replaced the 5mm bullets that came with them with 4mm. They weigh in at 1167grams...nice.

RE: Extreme Flight Vanquish 2m Build Thread
