Check Balsa USA, they have been great for me. They ship in a long box with all packet tight inside. I use the boxes to store all of my extra wood.

Here are some more pictures. This is the first for me on making a cowl from scratch.
Used a 2 liter pepsi bottle, black pantie hose, 5 min epoxy.

I think it will paint up very nice.

The gear is Great Planes .40 size. $7.99 (I think Dural, the package has hit the trash but on my receite the Iten # is GPMQ1820)

Flaps, Alerions are the same size.
Ca hinges used so if the alerions are too small i can remove easy.

Most likely build a glass cowl, will see how that goes....
