RE: honest opinion, which truggy should i get???

Don't want to spend the extra cash for a pro kit? Get the RTR CRT. All you really need to add is the aluminum chassis braces and you're set. You can get those on e-bay for $15.00. You get the...

RE: after run clean

Depending on how dirty it is:

Just dusty? I blow it off with an air compressor and then I squirt it down with LPS (an electrical spray lubricant) and air it down again. I don't use WD40.

RE: Official Jammin X1CRT Thread

It took me about 14 hours to build mine including painting, trimming and stickering the body. My first build so I had a couple of things that I screwed up on and had to go back and fix. If I had...

RE: Engine for Jammin CRT

I've thought about that but at the same time the track I hang at doesn't have any big straights to worry about but does have some long doubles directly after some corners so bottom end is what I'm...

RE: Engine for Jammin CRT

You'll need to raise the motor for either the pull or roto start. I think the RTR Jammin CR mounts will work. As for the roto start you should be able to go in through the back (I just looked at...

RE: lookin at the hellfire

Actually, for what it is, $650 is'nt bad at all. This is a RTR that is way more advanced, weight wise and handling wise, than your normal MT. Jammin is coming out with a CRT RTR also.

I sold...

RE: lookin at the hellfire

Word from a girl that works there is that they will be out after the Holidays. Just to be sure, these are truggys, not monster trucks. I've seen them at the track.

RE: sway bars

Try just running the rear one. Your corner push will go away. I think I had the light one on mine.

RE: Old Santa rocked up in Australia a Bit early this year!

Guess I'm not the only one who has a pile around when I'm working on my truck. I just built a Jammin CRT and had crap all over the pool table room! It's impossible to stay organized while working...

Mach .28

Anyone know if the cases on the .28 are the same as the .26? Will the .26 backing plate (in lieu of the roto/pull start) fit in the .28?

RE: Pro-Line tires on velocity rims

Better go with 23mm and some adapters or that special nut they sell if you don't go 23mm or otherwise they'll bend every time you take a big header or just land wrong.

RE: Additional LST newbie questions...

Yep, your brakes are binding. I even had problems with the fiber pads so I went with just one rotor and it works great. From one side to the other, metal pad, fiber pad, rotor, fiber pad, metal...

Giving up the LST

Looks like the LST is going to go on the auction block.

My local track holds races every week but they combine all the trucks into one class (pro and sportsman) so the MT's have to race against...

RE: Full potential??

I'm with NitroLST, wheelies suck for the track. On the street I can flip it over backwards at will and that's with soft suspension. I do have the Sportwerks carb, 20% fuel, forward only trans, 3/4...

RE: Wing for the LST?

Here's a few pics. Please excuse the dirt, a wash job is onthe agenda for todays activities. I used 3mm allen bolts for mounting from the local hardware store.

RE: Wing for the LST?

I used the OFNA Jammin 1/8 scale wing and mounts. I made an aluminum plate to mount to the shock tower on the front side. I squeezed the wing mounts together slightly so the mounting bolts would go...

RE: Aluminum Clutch

I just went back to the stock shoes tonight from the aluminum Losi shoes. I was having troble keeping the truck running at idle so I checked the clutch shoes and one of the springs was broken which...

RE: LST racer body again.

The dip gets hacked at the bottom of the lip.

The dimples are for the posts and the igniter. For the antenna you have to make an educated guess.

RE: LST racer body question???

I used a piece of cardboard cut so the body would slide inside but not go through and then tape the edges. Kinda like one of those dog deals used to keep them from scratching their ears.

RE: Can't get it to turn in the corners.

Mine turns great with the following set-up. 35wt oil all around-stock springs with about 1/2 inch of preload-stock shock position on the bottom and inside hole on top-light rear sway bar-All these...

RE: Brakes catchy/binding/dragging?

There are two really hard braking points at the track I go to and a few not so hard braking points. I didn't notice any fade. They were stopping at the end as good as at the beginning. During one...

RE: Brakes catchy/binding/dragging?

I just returned from the track where I was able to run seven tanks of fuel through the truck before it got dark. The brake set-up worked great! As far as that goes, the whole truck worked great. ...
