If you have low budget, go for the DragonFly #4, good for the price you going to pay. Just check everything up and make sure the assembly is tight and firm.

Did you installed the brushless motor in the helicopter?

For the servo, it is seems it is a bad servo. You need a new one (I think)

For beginner, you will need to spend time (a lot of time) to learn how to fly. For me, it took me about 3 days to pick up the basic skill and I crashed a lot of time too. ;)

If you are in USA, then it is ok. Because the USA Custom will let the rc toys come into USA. I have experience with orders from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and do not have any problem with that.

The Walkera Helicopter assembly is not good. So you should double check all the screws and make sure they are assembled firmly for your safety.

Sorry, I do not see that before. But I think it should be the same. You can try that. The basic idea of the training gear is to prevent damage if the helicopter crash.

I installed the training gear (the one with 4 yellow balls) to my helicopter with that instrcutionsent by my seller. Hope that help
