I am a Hirobo fan and I have also owned a Raptor. Both helis are awesome from entry to 3d. One of your deciding factors should be part availability. Meaning what parts does your lhs stock. ...

RE: A little T-Rex 450 SA Q & A

1. The largest I've heard of are the 335mm
2. I'm not sure of the question here. Different pinion tooth counts are used to change the maximum headspeed based on the motor kv.
3. The pinions are...

RE: Holy crap this heli is expensive, is it worth it?

If you don't have batteries already a good economical solution is the DN combo (2) lipos and a balancing charger for $140. A stand alone budget charger I would suggest the Astro 109 for $125 and add...

RE: Rex 600 3S series wiring??

Essentially you would need 4 of the DN 3s packs. You are correct in wiring them in series will give you the 22.2 volts but your still at 2150 so you would still need to wire that pair with another...

RE: Holy crap this heli is expensive, is it worth it?

The performance compared to the CP Pro will also blow you away. It is very costly to get started with the cost of a radio added in. It will be more than worth it when you get it up in the air. Just...

RE: T-REX VS CP PRO

The difference between the Trex and the CP Pro are night and day. If you can fly the CP Pro you won't have a problem with the Trex. The Trex is much more stable in the hover but will do just about...

RE: Yes or No?

I think the main concern with the parkflyer receiver would be the range. Keep it in close (as us heli pilots do in comparison to plank flyers) and you should be fine.

RE: Assembling 450SA haed question?

Yes it is. If you are using the plastic stock cage you can squeeze it while you tighten the set screw on both sides. The metal upgrade needs little to no persuasion.
