RE: So you want a mini....

The vendetta st's are awesome minis that are very capable on road and off. However, you need to know that if you get one there are some modifications you will need to do to make it race worthy:

RE: OFFICIAL VENDETTA THREAD!!!!!!!!!

imho...the dtx ball diffs and the dtx steel cvd's are the best. however, they are not cheap. there are no viscous diffs that i know of, nor any center diff. I don't know if the buggy diffs and st...

RE: OFFICIAL VENDETTA THREAD!!!!!!!!!

hmmm..sorry to hear you have had such bad luck with it. It is definitely not great rtr, but I never broke as many parts as you have. It is a great mini once you get the essential hopup parts. There...

RE: OFFICIAL VENDETTA THREAD!!!!!!!!!

The dtx ball diffs and steel cvd's are a good combo and will withstand brushless. Just remember to break the ball diffs in and re-tighten as necessary. You could probably start with the rear as long...

RE: My Vendetta ST

mine actually held up fine to the brushed vr3 motor. I only lost a couple when using brushless. If you get the cvd's just make sure to locktight the screws that hold the wheel in place. They have a...

RE: My Vendetta ST

yep,

The stock esc sucks. Pretty much useless. The steel cvd's work great, but you will find that you need to get ball diffs (if running brushless). Also, you need to get the servo hold down....

RE: What parts should I order for Vendetta ST?

spare upper front arms if you want to use plastic, or get the aluminum ones. These are the only arms I have ever broken on the ST. Also, get some extra shock shafts because I have bent a couple...

RE: vendetta?

The stock vr3 is a fast motor if you run lipos and a good esc. I could see snapping plastic driveshafts if you were really rough on the throttle. My plastic ones lasted quite a long time though.

RE: What battery and charger for my Vendetta ST?

Here is what I use:

Thunder Power 2s 1320 lipo packs
Triton 2 charger

Apogee makes a nice limn pack that will work with the st.

RE: 12turn motor

the team orion motor you mention is a budget mod motor. The other 2 are better, but I guess that depends on what u want to spend. The orion revolution 12x2 is in the same class of the other 2.

RE: zx5 vs sb v2 pro vs b44 witch is better ?

I had a zx-5. It was very nice, but imo requires some upgrades. P&N makes alum front and rear shock tower supports which are nice. The stock plastic ones can snap on hard landings. Remember too that...

RE: Newbie needing advice

I would go with either:

1. Losi XXX-t RTR
2. Team Associated t4 rtr
3. Team associated B4 RTR

No particular order, but they provide a good foundation to start with. They can all be...

RE: Tire question

Foam tires are usually replaced when they reach an unusable height. You can measure them with calipers to determine if they are worn too much, or by just looking at them if they are worn badly...

RE: Losi XXX-T

Good 19 turn motors will get it moving. Komodo dragon or checkpoint money 19. They are not exactly low maintenance though. You will need to change brushes and cut the comm.

RE: LRP Bullet, No reverse?

Are you sure that the esc has reverse? If it does, then you may need to adjust the profiles. Some esc's have profiles that lockout reverse for racing. If you switch profiles, then you can find one...

RE: I Need Help Making A Big Decision!

Just make sure you realize how expensive a 1/8th conversion can be. You are going to need lipos, as you know....they run some bucks when you get into the higher voltages. I had a brushless lst2 and...
