"Graduated" to RC in '58. There have been a few breaks in the action; 12 years in the Marines; 4 daughters ...

Rick,
I removed a 5" section of covering from the center of the wing and added 4" wide medium weight fiberglass. It didn't weigh much but it certainly strengthened the joint.

Battery for 1/4 scale GP-202

They are Sanyo NiMh packs.
In my opinion, the best they make for RC use.

Your 50ma charger will charge them, but it will take about 33 hours. Therefore, you might want to pick up a Sirius Charger...

I have the same plane and I'm using JR4131's all around with a 1650ma NiMh battery.

The minimum I would use is the 1000ma pack.

I suggest you pick up a 1650ma NiMh from Dave Thacker at...
