Chaos in the video is a really good (very slow) example...

The tail can rotate either direction and when done right, appears to be changing directions because of the normal to inverted orentation....

I myself, got back into the hobby a couple years ago with a R30... Great machine at the time. I had probably 3 of them at one time. Then I built a new 30 with the 50 upgrade kit before the R50 kits...

In the raptor line of helis... the V2 Raptor 50 would be a great choice for a 3D learner. I have 3 of them and have not seen any other 50 sized machine even come close to their 3D performance.

Just about anything with collective pitch with be capable of doing some sort of 3D.

I have seen this only on a few helis, and every time it was solved by tightening the blades.

I also only use 1 flight mode and GV-1 for everything . As for landing, Autos are always the easiest and cleanest way to end the flight.

Do not use tri flow on the thrust bearing as the teflon will make it lock up. The best choice here is transmission fluid.

Auto bearing lube?

I have heard that the tefflon in tri-flow will lock up the auto bearings in some cases. Anyone else heard this.

Lately ATF is what I have been using, and works great! Just like what mongo says.

If you ever noticed how much of a bind your swashplate could get in the corners (full right, full back) This prevents it.
