well it didnt fly as well as the first one, but i have a feeling it has to do with the way i hooked up the rudder...i'll upload the plans when i get home tonight...

i am using 3mm midwest cell...

performance isn't proportional, if you just scaled up the plans and built it, there are certain elements of the design that are designed into it for a 40 size plane. control surface and stabilzer...

well...went to the lhs, picked up a replacement tail motor...still didnt fix it...had the guys up there fly it (i'm new to helis, flown fixed wing for 6yrs) had the answer in a few mins...

everything checks out, it spins CCW...tried compensating with trim, but doesnt help...will try picking up a toothbrush later today to see what happens...

well...i replaced the hummingbird mixing board as suggested...didnt fix it...talked to century and they said try a new tail motor...

Hey guys,
Wondering what the problem might be with my hummingbird...it will get off the ground but all it wants to do is spin. tried it with and without the gyro...same thing. i'm stumped. thanks!...

How is this thing running with a Zinger 14x4? i have the APC 14x4W on mine and its good, but seems too heavy. my LHS doesnt keep any of the zingers. should i order a couple or should i get a APC 13x6?

i'd go for the foamie size, but don't have anything micro size...i'm thinking CF Fuse and a foam core wing....

I just started a job for the summer (maybe more) at an aircraft composite shop, and am thinking about doing a CF profile plane. you think it'd be worth the effort? besides looking cool?

I had one of those clamp mounts on my H9 superstick a while back. Kartwheeled it on its first flight, tore the firewall right out...the motor didn't budge...one of the easiest mounts i ever worked...

i think it has to do with the wing...the area on those things is rather large, also the shape of the airfoil has alot to do with it.

Your charger will work fine. I use my stock JR charger on a 6V 800mah and it works fine. When you turn the plane on for the first time after charging, everything will probably jump and jitter a bit....

I agree with smallfly, the standards should be fine, try and get a 6v pack. its not neccessary, but it makes a huge difference. i have all JR537's and a 341 Mini for throttle.

it spins, because it is too much elevator throw...turn it down a bit and it should go away
