RE: I am searching for a perfect airplane

The reason I do not get into the flat foamies is because they don't really fly like a real airplane or a larger model, it's just shear power to weight. I like the Airfoilz because its wing actually...

RE: Extreme Flight E-YAK!!!

Mike, did you put some thin CA on the root rib of the wing? They suggested that this be coated with CA to harden the balsa. I haven't had a problem yet although I haven't taken the wings on and off...

RE: The new electric YAK 54 from Greatplanes!

I think the biggest concern is the vibration though... I have the new electric Yak from extreme flight and its a little bigger than this one and there is no way I would put a glow engine on it. ...

RE: Improving harrier performance

Staying ahead of the rock is key and also light wing loading so the wings don't stall as easy. Just keep the plane as light as possible...

RE: 150 Saito engine for the ST 4-D 90

I don't have the problem with the rudder hitting the elevators... Maybe your rudder throw is more than mine. I mounted my engine upside down, you couldn't do it right side up or the cylinder would...

RE: Servo Arms - Showtime 4D

Nathan I bet you could get 45degs with 1", you would just have to move the pushrod connection down closer to the control surface on the control horn... Have you tried that? With my 1.25 I have the...

RE: Servo Arms - Showtime 4D

What i used on my ST were the AirWild MLP aluminum servo arms 1.25" all around. This is a little more expensive option but they look cool and work real well.

RE: 150 Saito engine for the ST 4-D 90

Yeah tell me about it, Saito is not the cheapest option but they are good engines. On the rudder system, I mounted the servo in the tail and DID NOT use the pull-pull system. Balanced perfectly......

RE: 150 Saito engine for the ST 4-D 90

I am running a Saito 150 in my Showtime... Performance rocks, unlimited vertical and it pulls out of a hover with no questions asked. I had to shave the inside of the engine mounts to fit the crank...

Thats good to know, I was going to buy another airframe as a backup in case mine went in if that was the case. I should do that anyway but I have an EF 68" Yak for backup.

I am newer to electrics but I thought that a 4s would be more powerful than a 3s... So why does the 4s pack use a smaller prop? Basically, if I wanted to do mostly freestyle with this plane which...

RE: 80, 90, or 100"?

If you are looking to get into a bigger gas model, the 50cc size is the smallest you would want to go. 87" is a key size for a 50cc, this allows you to still get good wing loading with the weight of...
