I'm new to jets, but not new to R/C. 50 cents on the dollar for good quality gear seems about right to me. Depending upon how bad you wanna move it, you might have to take less.

I've had many successful launches with mine, and so has my friend.

Did you have the right amount of tension on the line? We go with the manuals number of paces, plus a few for good measure :)

The manual calls for 13/16" on the flaps. I've managed to get max throws on them to 1 1/4" on both sides ..... what did you guys end up running??

I've run the js1400 and ARC motors in a 6904 and wemotec setup. Both right at 1300 - 1400w very reliably.

Extreme R/C has some nice fans as well as Tam and his TJ70 unit.

The H20 I used did not melt the foam. The finsih turned out terrible tho, must be something todo with the waterbase???

Normally the propellant is what will cause melting. I've had this happen...

This is the stuff I like to use. It can be cleaned up with water and dries (pretty) clear. Wrap some rubber bands around the canopy/airfrmae to help make a nice tight seal but be careful not to...
