If you fit the V3 frame and use the stock V4 parts - the swash stabilizer will need extending slightly to locate in the guide rail.

The standard swash is better machined, and somewhat sturdier - and will give a better response. Other than that as XXX says - it looks pretty :D

well - got most of it all fitted now - my V4 is more like a V3 now :D :D
One point to mention, with the standard V4 swash, the stabilizer "finger" won't slot into the guide rail ( it's too short)...

totally agree on the spares and upgrades prices - especially ATM with US $ rates so unbeliveably awesome...

Yeah - Ordered the whole lot a few nights ago from these peeps: Ebay Store

Skids, lower frame, boom, blades - i'm gonna hold off the cnc parts for now - until i'm happy the frame is solid...

Ok - this UK seller on good ol' flee bay does lots of nice shiney bits from Xtreme....

Thing is - i want to get rid of the naff canopy and crappy skids from the V4 and fit a sexy new skid set...

......if the controls are inverted, check the setup in FMS.
this assumes yer using the USB to Serial cable - select "joystick interface" in FMS, then go to mapping/calibration, the channel list...

I had a look at motors a few weeks ago, still undecided ATM.

Been flying her about two weeks - moves quite well for a "cheap" co-axial - just kinda get hacked off with the short flight times -...

I love decent mods for e/c helis. Probs gonna bite the bullet later this week and just go for it TBH - got nothing to loose really, it's not a bank-breaking amount of cash to outlay for better...
