Sig Ultimate FunFly without top wing?

I just crashed my Ultimate and ruined the top wing. I got a new plane on order and want something to kick around. I'm wondering how well, if at all, the Ultimate would fly without the top wing? Thanks

O.S. .40LA/ Tower Hobbies Fun 51?

I've got an old .40LA laying around from my training days. It runs great, so I figured I'd buy a little plane I can throw around without worrying about crashing my pride and joy. I was thinking about...

Ultimate FF

I love my Ultimate, but I have the same problem(if you want to call it that) as you. The plane is very responsive at low rates, and lacking a computer radio, I can't control the throws. But I...

Expert SL500 Servo

The other Futaba servo I had in the wing of my J-3 Cub burnt out so I went with this cheap fix. Well I found out that the Expert servo goes in a different direction than my old Futaba, and now both...

Weird LA .40

Oh, I thought you meant you bought it from someone in a combo. You must have got it right when O.S. started building them like that. Then again Tower could have done it.

Weird LA .40

That's normal nowadays with the LA .40. The original plastic remote needle valve was too easy to break, and O.S. has since made the metal bracket standard on it's engines. Most likely the engine was...

Futaba 9CHP Color?

I've seen pics of the radio that show it as silver, and some that show it as goldish in color. So which is it really? Doesn't make a whole lot of difference, but I think the gold would look better.

Check Valves

Yes, I'm running muffler pressure. When I hold the plane vertical it runs real bad and steadily decreases power. It's so bad that instead of holding the plane down at full throttle, I'm holding it up.

Check Valves

My tank is directly behind my engine and on a perfect centerline with the carb (it's mounted on a profile plane).
