RE: Radios just coming on the market to prevent this?

Didn't make it through all the posts but I suspect this could be much ado about nothing! I think my homeowner's liability insurance would cover this if it was not intentional. Just like another...

RE: goldberg cub dihedral

I checked my kit and the dihedral gauges will keep the wing 5/8 inch off the tabel.

At the fifth rib in from the tip for the long wing and third rib in from the tip for the clipped wing.
Hope...

RE: Life sucks lately. Thank God I have my airplanes.

Hey Deadeye, sorry to hear about all your problems. Lottery sounds like a good idea.

Didn't know Conrad was such a crime ridden community. Maybe you should move to Dutton.

Come up to Holter...

RE: goldberg cub dihedral

If you know trigonometry and the dihedral angle from the specs, you can figure this out pretty easily.

distance above table=length of wing from center(times) tangent of the dihedral angle

I...

RE: CL-215 Should I buy engines and fly it or sell it

See the CL215 Skimmers on the lake in front of our house often in fire season. Neat plane, send it to me if you don't want it.

RE: 4*60 engine mounting question

I used the location to achieve the proper cg. Used a magnum 80 four stroke and actually had to put a one inch block between the firewall and motor mount to get balance. This was a kit and was pretty...

RE: Kadet LT-40 and dihedral

I made two modifications to the wing on my LT40 Float Plane. I took most of the dihedral out so that with one side of the wing flat on the bench the other is one half inch above. Barely noticeable....

RE: Help for a warped elevator

It was bare balsa and overnight after the top dried as well as the bottom, it is pretty straight. The primer/sealer is Krylon and I plan to follow that up with Krylon acrylic latex enamel. I was...

LT-40 ARF How did you do yours?

We like the Tower .61 or .75. Gets off the water faster when on floats and you can strap on an extra 16 oz tank for cross country flying.

I knew putting in that comment was risky. I even checked the dictionary for the spelling of atroshus but I never proof read it. :o
