RE: newb needs help on motor

Or for the ultimate in drift, don't use tires at all? Oh! If you want the torquiest motor, get a 55T lathe motor!

RE: Buying A yokomo hiper silvia s15! Should i?

Seriously, how hard can it be? If you have some screwdrivers, and a good set of diagonal cutters, you're set. I mean, how hard is it to cut plastic pieces of a parts tree and turn a screwdriver?

RE: locking rs4 rear diff

That's odd. I know that the Yokomo Nitro Drift Package uses spools front and back. And there are Stage-D spools for the Nitro RS4 3. If you're gonna lock it, lock it correctly. Use some JB Weld. If...

RE: Buying A yokomo hiper silvia s15! Should i?

Yea it's extremely hard. I needed power tools, a lathe, hot glue gun, sawzall, and a sledgehammer to put myfriend's TT-01 together.

RE: PLEASE READ DO NOT PASS THIS UP

You should look for a car that has 4 wheels, a drivetrain, and a means of putting power to those wheels.

RE: newb needs help on motor

I think a Novak GTB with Velociti 3.5R will do you best. Or if you want brushed motors, the Team Orion Revolution 8T will be best.

Tires? I think Jaco foams are great.

RE: i am trying to get in

The Yokomo will do you fine. Just get a couple spare lower arms and the Stage 1 upgrade. Stay away from the TT-01. It'll provide you with the drift action you want, but you'll soon find yourself...

RE: Cheap Chinese / Taiwanese drifters......pls comment

And out of the 1000+ posts, 950+ were about how the TT-01 is the international drift standard, according to him.

RE: Newb drifter, Which kit?>!!!

You should get a Tamiya TRF 415MSX Mark Reinhard Edition. Or an Alex Racing Barracuda. Hell, even a Tech Racing MY02 would be good.

Then there are the following cars that are great for...

Dude, why are you hyping up your "flaming" of other members? If anyone, you should put YOUR flamsesuit on since you never give educated advice. You always jump on the advice bandwagon and agree with...

RE: I NEED HELPPP!!!! PLZ!!!!

See this is exactly what I didn't want to happen. I, in no way, have ever stated that I am an expert of any sorts. It was just me finally getting some stuff off my chest, as I personally find some...

RE: Need some help here!!(Yes one of the Veterans needs help)

Another thing you can do is to bring it to your LHS and have them troubleshoot it. One of the three wires may be bad, which may lead to the inability to turn right. I'd try the Associated servo first...

RE: Drifting?

People in Oakland were killed by sideshows, not drifting. Sideshows are just gatherings where people do donuts all night. There are no attempts in trying to control the tire slippage, nor do they...

RE: **Stage D?**

Use the yellows. Also, as soon as you tune the engine, enrich the mixture by 1/4 - 1/2 a turn to reduce operating temps.

RE: Need some help here!!(Yes one of the Veterans needs help)

It'll work fine. Seems it has the same specs as the S3001 standard servo, but it's a 'precision' model. Dunno what that means, but here are the specs.

S148 Precision
FUTM0710

RE: Change in direction.

Just go to Home Depot and look for 2 inch inner diamter ABS pipe. Then cut it into 1 inch wide rings. Then again I can sell you some, with rolled edges.

RE: Tyre difference

Let's put this topic to rest.

The original Stage-D slicks are crap. They grip too damned much. They're not even worth a second look. Period.

The drift radials "Advan Super Drift A-Type or...

RE: I NEED HELPPP!!!! PLZ!!!!

First off, please don't take any offense to this post, but exactly where are you getting the statistics that most pro RC drifters use the TT-01 or TB-02? And where are you getting the rest of your...
