I own the MFX its ok, the 260 flys bettet, from what I i have seen, for 3D.

Motor for 40oz 3D plane?

I just picked up an Ultrafly Reactor Bipe. I need a motor for it, they recommend a Rimfire 35-36-1200, I havent heard any good things about this motor yet. Can anybody recommend a GREAT motor.

I have seen the Typhoon power unit, it will fly the plane around but dont expect to do any 3D.

I have been running my MFX with the E-flight 480 and Castle Creations 60 with no problems at all. I know the CC60 is overkill but this is what I had at hand and the weight was not that significant.

It floats in, verry simple to land, but it doesn't want to come down on its own.

I was told that the lowr kv motor would produce more torque, perfect for 3-D, and draw less amps and that higher kv gave you more speed and draw more amps so you would turn a smaller prop,and less...
