So did you go with the 22S like what bzyguy is using, or the 28S? I'm planning on the 22S myself.

I think they recommended the 950 for a reason. You stated in a previous thread that the Yak WOULD actually hover and pull out with the 950, albeit slowly....with the structural failures that we've...

Have you ever tried the Hacker A30-16M? What do you think about the possibility of using that one in the Yak versus the 22S.....would it be too much power for the airframe to take?...

Yes, It's a Futaba 9CHP.... a (9) channel - (C)omputer - (H)eli - (P)CM. It's got the synthesizer module so you can select whatever channel you want to use via a couple of trimpot-style microswitches...

I used to run a YS .46 in a plane years ago....it was the best engine I had used, smooth, troublefree, and powerful. I wish they made one for the .30 size helis.
