i don't know if they will dissipate enough heat for nitro purposes, but

the rx doesn't have a BEC equipped, but the goat does :-) iduno about the horiz antenna
on mine i use traxxas tq3 system and i used the antenna tube that came with the ax 10 kit.... i just bent it...

sorry i havent finalized my decision on the AX10

i did go with the AX10
got a novak rooster CE and fifty five combo....
traxxas 3chan rec and tq3 TX

i am really impressed with this...

being my first crawler... i doubt ill go with better than 7.2v MH batteries.. i just didn't wanna break any thing first time out of the hole :-)

LOL the RPM range would be right, but i think the spool time would be tough to manage for crawling

how much current could you achieve with this motor. i read all the time that you don't develop enough current to sufficiently turn a motor with a similar wound gen.. id just like to see some numbers

the one way bearing is 9$ from tower...


and to the best of my knowledge i haven't hit the button that long even it usually bumps right off :-)
and i usually use a small hand pump to prime...

check the servo horn mine was traveling past the point of no manual turn :-)
when i turned the rx on the servo was going to its stop
and i couldn't turn the steering
once i turned...

if you know how to solder just take a wire of the same size and length and solder it to the spot on the RX board and there you go,
or find a TV repair shop and have him/her resolder it for you...

check the throttle return spring mine has stretched somewhat, i clipped about 4mm off of the loop around the HSN and tightened it some
seems to help,
