I have been using an Orange (Spektrum compatible) single antenna no satellite for over a year in my sailplane. No glitches, no fades no problems what so ever. Think maybe I have a bad radio?

The HK DG 1000 sailplane arrived. I am impressed. Just 1 small wrinkle in the covering. Fin slightly canted as expected. Easy fix for both.

buy the best 6 channel you can get. By best I mean Futabr, Airtronics, JR visit a club and pick the least used channel. Buy a decent foamy Some GWS are good others dont fly so well , read the reviews...

I had realized the danger of one moter shutting down but figured I would set the beeper on my xmitter to warn me to land .

variprop looks expensive. This plane is just 42 in wingspan...
