i think your problem is you have idle up on. thats a featire which keep the bladea at noe speed, but jsut adjusts to pitch of the blades for acceleration, and so you can perform inverted maneuvers.

id just say teach them the parts of the helicopter, the kids would never understand that knida stuff at their age... you oculd pass out sheets with the parts labeled or something too.

yea, my lhs, alshobby shop in elmhurst(alshobbyshop.com) has all the cnc e flite parts for the cx2, at a deal too.you might be able to get them to ship to you.

i started out about 3 months ago, which doesnt seem like much but i flew that thing at every chance i got! the cp was just different, and a little intimidating just because you have big wooden blades...

your spinning was almost definetly due to the chiop in the blade, or the battery. id recmmend taking itn a little slower and try7ing to jsut get it where you want to go by sliding on the floor first...

might be your charger, those things are pretty cheap. if not maybe its your connection or something with the batteyr, does it seem to sputter?

id say go with the cp, or make that the pro. first off, because the cx is easier to learn on, and a little cheaper to replace, it makes that very good for a beginner, but you will definetly outgrow...
