RE: Can someone id this motor

Could be a 23cc, but I know there was a 17 or 18cc version that looked almost identical. There were/are so many variations of weedeater motors out in the world.

RE: Brison 2.4 or DA50?

Hi Aces,
I don't have any personal experience with the DA, but I do have a Brison 2.4 on a 20lb Pica 1/5th T28, and it's more than enough power. Our elevation is 4200 feet, and it's still more than...

Hi Sass,

see Aircraft International, or Desert Aircraft for the KS line of mufflers... I just received one - extremely high quality, but a bit pricey.
Hope this helps.

RE: Header for Brison 3.2

Hi krayzc-RCU,
No, I haven't run this engine yet - it was NIB from an on-line auction and came with the Bisson muffler, but I never fired it up. The KS muffler I purchased is quite large and should...

RE: Header for Brison 3.2

Well, that's odd, I posted a second post with the part number and it's not on the forum....

The part number for the header with a straight, short (about 1 inch) swagged tube is #KS1564 (this...

RE: Header for Brison 3.2

Hi Pat,
Thanks for the input.
Jeff, over at Desert Aircraft, just emailed and said he found a header that has exactly the dimensions we need (says it the same as the 3W40 flange). I'm in contact...

RE: Gas engine Stand-offs?

I really like the B&B Specialties mounts - nicely tooled aluminum parts, and just the right durometer rating on the bushings. I've got them on a Pica 1/5 T28 with a Brison 2.4 and on a Reids Quality...

RE: Pica T 28 B 1/5 Building post

It's been a number of years since I built mine, but I'll dig out my CG gauge tonight and check it for you - 5 1/4" does sound about right. I put a Brison 2.4 in mine and it doesn't seem to fly tail...
