Freedom 3D removable horizontal stab

I converted the horizontal stabilizer on my Freedom 3D to be removable as I travel a lot. got the idea from Ed Lyerly who performed a similar conversion on a Long Stick.

Learning 3 D on ARF Which One

I am getting into 3D after having flown a few high and low wing trainers, sticks etc.

Should be a larger ARF plane around 80" to 90" wing span and probably a 3W 50 or similar.

Which Super Cub ARF ??

I am considering a 80" Piper super cub and it should be ARF.
I know Great Planes and Hangar 9 makes one.
Which one is the better quality and are there any others ????

Ultra Stick / Saito 72 can't stop

I just got an Ultra Stick with a Saito 72 & 13/6 APC prop from a friend. It idles really well and SLOW. But not slow enough to not start rolling on the ground and certainly not slow enough to stop...

I have 2 identical looking batteries for my RX. Both are Sanyo have yellow shrink tubing and batteries themselves are green. One has printed Sany Battery on the green cover.

I am ordering a Venom temp gauge for my 30 and 60 machines to hopefully achieve a healthy operating atmosphere.

The Servo movement with stick input is slower than my 9202's.

Put a 2x4 on the ground and walk over it without falling off or putting one foot on the ground.
I am sure you are not gonna have the slightest problem doing it.

Now take the 2x4 and mount it 10...

I also use the thumb/finger method mainly because I learned to fly in Europe where we mostly use transmitter trays to rest our hands on and flying that way the thumb/finger method seems the most...

Digital with 240 ??

Does it have any advantage to use a digital servo 9253 with a G240 Gyro or are they meant only for the G401.

Starter Coupling / engine misalignment

The starter coupling on my Raptor 50 does not freewheel while engine is running, it can be turned by hand with engine off but it has some resistance.

When engine is removed it turns just fine.

My Hatori has a lot of residue from the Castor Oil and looks disgusting.

I read somewhere on the forum that soaking it in Anti Freeze will dissolve the Oil residue.

OS 32 idle HELP

I run an OS 32 in my Raptor 30 helicopter.
