On the whole scale issue, the MGT definately looks like a 1/8th truck but when you check Associated's stance on the scale, they say it was never built to a scale, they were just trying to make it...

When you say only the left side spins do you mean you only see the left side of the diff case spinning, or the cvd spinning, or do you have your truck re-assembled and you only see the left wheel...

If your going to go the Losi route I would suggest the Mini-Baja...seperate receiver, ESC, and servo, real bearings, and if your just messing around, it comes with the tall body mounts so you can run...

I wouldn't necessarily consider myself a newbie but I have never heard of "boiling the gears". Is that a joke or do you actually mean to boil the gears? If so, what advantage does this offer?

You can make the the Traxxas arms fit, but unless your using the RPM arms I'm not sure why you would want stock Traxxas arms on your MGT. T-Maxx shocks also fit with no issues. I bought a set of...

Thanks Mz, I was looking online and if the LHS has the Losi in stock I'm going to go with that...if not the reviews of the MIP ball diff seem to be a little more favorable...find out tomorrow...

Yep, I just picked the car up a few days ago so my 4 year old and I could have something he could somewhat safely drive too...(while he does suprisingly well, he is still a bit on the unpredictable...

My LSN is currently set at 5 1/2 turns out and if I turn it clockwise another quarter-turn it will launch incredibly well to the point of pulling decent wheelies on even the slightest uphill grade...

I talked with my LHS guy who seems fairly comfortable with Traxxas equipment and he seems to think I'm either running it too rich or too lean...I know that sounds like a bogus answer but I also know...

Thanks again for the advise...I think for now I'm going to research the way the stepcharger behaves and see if I can't easily duplicate it with my current charger. Starting at 1c, switching up to 2c...
