This is not the end-all info about these engines, but I think this to be true;

1) ASP, Magnum, and SC (SY?) are manufactured by the same company on the same lines and badge engineered.

To answer your questions, Yes the 6xaps is a good radio with room to grow. At $250 I think you could do better. You might consider the Flash 5X at about $160. Cheers

Upon further review, I think the ASP .91A series 3 is the exact same engine as the Magnum XL .91A, not the XLS. But still, for $75 NIB it might be worth considering. Hear good things about the XLS...

Without doubt, outstanding pilots could fly with 12" or larger props on a stock SE with the recommended wheel size. But mere mortals will need a smaller prop or taller gear. Enjoy
