Its difficult to tell from just a photograph. Hopefully they will let us know the specs soon. I'm really hoping for 1/10th scale.. Otherwise, I'm afraid HPI may have shot themselves in the foot. ...

I know the wheels and shocks are 1/8th scale. I think they will end up changing the wheels to 2.2/3.0 before production, and i think they will keep the beefy 1/8th scale shocks. It may be based off...

I'm not sure that it's 1/8th scale. From the second pic, it looks to be about the same size as the blitz to me. It may look a larger because the guys are holding it out in front of them making it...

They will fit. You will need bearings though. I don't think the outer bearings are the same on a creeper.

I see alot of nice Hilux scx's being built.. Use the cab, with a custom truggy or flatbed rear, looks fantastic[sm=thumbs_up.gif].. Thats what i plan to do once i get an scx.

Crawling is probably more fun than any other form of RC i have been involved in. Once you try it out, you will know why.

the only bells it has that are not needed are the axle lockers in my opinion,, And you can mod those to stay locked at all times.

Otherwise the axles are awesome. They had quality control...

i would say it would be fine for running through some puddles and whatnot, but i would not completely submerge it while running.

I took a bad fall off some rocks and ended up submerged...

If you want a hobby grade crawler. I would get something with lots of aftermarket support.

Axial AX-10 has tons of support and is a great crawler.

also, the venom creeper is really good...

143 oz should be enough. Unless you're hardcore comping, you probably don't need anything more than that. my servo is only 133oz, it seems fine for me. Sometimes i get in a bind and wish i had...
